
As Executive Vice-President – Retail and Commercial Banking and member of the Office of the President since February 2008, Réjean Lévesque is responsible for all personal, commercial and international banking operations at National Bank Financial Group.
Prior to this appointment, he had been Senior Vice-President – Electronic Payment Solutions and Operations since June 2007. He was also responsible for the Mortgage Loan Processing Centre and the Retail Credit Centre.
Mr. Lévesque has more than 25 years of banking experience. Since joining National Bank in 1988, he has held a number of key positions, including Vice-President of the Beauce-Frontenac region, Vice-President – Western Montreal, and Vice President – Commercial Banking, Laval/Laurentians/Lanaudière. During his career, he has been responsible for a branch network and a commercial banking centre, and for developing and growing a commercial loan and deposit portfolio. From 2002 to 2005, Réjean Lévesque served as Senior Vice-President – Commercial Banking, Northern and Eastern Quebec. In August 2005, he was named Senior Vice-President – Operations Review Program.
Mr. Lévesque holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a concentration in finance and international business from McGill University and an MBA from the Université du Québec à Montréal. He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Canadian Bankers and an accredited financial planner of the Institut québécois de planification financière.
