Canadian banks accepting donations for Red Cross relief efforts in Asia Pacific

Banks in Canada will be accepting donations to support efforts following two typhoons, a tsunami and an earthquake that have affected millions of people in the Philippines, Vietnam, Samoa, Tonga and Indonesia.
Donations to “Canadian Red Cross – International Disaster Relief Fund” can be made between October 8 and November 6, 2009 at any branch of the following banks:
- BMO Financial Group
- CIBC
- Canadian Western Bank
- HSBC Bank Canada
- Laurentian Bank of Canada
- National Bank of Canada
- RBC
- The Bank of Nova Scotia
- TD Bank Group
Donations of goods are not accepted.
