Majority of bank branches open Easter Monday

Toronto, ON – The Canadian Bankers Association is reminding Canadians that all bank branches will be closed on Friday, March 21 for the Good Friday statutory holiday. The majority of branches will be open on March 24, Easter Monday, during their regular branch hours, with the exception of branches in Nunavut which will be closed for a territorial holiday.

  • Friday, March 21, 2008 (Good Friday): All branches closed.
  • Monday, March 24, 2008 (Easter Monday): Nunavut branches closed. All other branches open for business with regular branch hours.

Branch openings on Saturday, March 22 and Sunday, March 23 may vary. Check with the individual branch directly for information on hours of operation.
